शनिवार को जिला खेल कार्यालय की ओर से पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू स्टेडियम में हो रही ओपन स्टेट पुरुष वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिता का समापन हुआ जिसके आखिरी मुकाबले में स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज लखनऊ अयोध्या हॉस्टल को हराकर बना विजेता.
प्रतियोगिता का पहला सेमीफाइनल मैनपुरी हॉस्टल और अयोध्या हॉस्टल के बीच हुआ उसमें अयोध्या हॉस्टल ने 2-1 सेट से मैनपुरी हॉस्टल को हराया और फाइनल में पहुंची और दूसरे सेमीफाइनल में लखनऊ स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज और प्रयागराज हॉस्टल के बीच मैच हुआ.
जिसके अंत में लखनऊ ने 2-0 सेट से प्रयागराज को हराया और फाइनल में प्रवेश किया फिर लखनऊ और अयोध्या के बीच हुआ फाइनल मुकाबला जहां लखनऊ स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज 2-1 सेट से अयोध्या को हरा बना फाइनल्स का चैंपियन.
प्रतियोगिता के आखिरी दिन के अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि मैनपुरी जिला अधिकारी राम जी मिश्रा और जिला वॉलीबॉल के अध्यक्ष प्रदीप चौहान ने वहां सभी खिलाड़ियों को पुरस्कार दे सम्मानित किया.
